Saturday, August 29th Resources & Reminders:

  • Programming today will begin promptly at 10 am
  • Breakfast will be available from 9-10am in the Thompson-Brown Meeting Room. This is the same room as check in and will be our primary meeting space today
  • You must take a COVID test before interacting with meeting spaces. Please take a COVID test before you leave your room and submit your test results at the link below (if you have a test with you) or arrive at least 15 minutes before today's opening at 10am 
  • If you brought anything to share at the free store, please bring those items with you this morning. 
  • If you brought an item or two that represents your work or community, please bring that with you as well.

  • When & Where
  • Housing
    • If you requested lodging we are planning with your preferences in mind. Housing and meeting spaces for Friday and Saturday are both located at Montreat Conference Center
  • Meals
    • We will be covering meals on Friday (dinner), Saturday (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and Sunday (breakfast and Lunch)
  • Transportation & Parking
    • If you requested transportation support(a gas card and/or carpooling), you should have receive an email with next steps Parking will be available onsite Friday and Saturday. Metered and street parking will be available near YMI on Sunday. Reach out to your primary BLOC point of contact to request support, if needed.
  • Health & Safety 
    • Review NC BLOCs COVID Protocols HERE and submit your completed test results HERE at the beginning of each day.
  • Childcare
    • Details regarding onsite childcare  will be provided.
  • What to bring:
    • 3-5 items to contribute to our Free Store (think, items you no longer use but are in good shape and you’d share with a friend, Books, shoes, tools etc.)

    • An item or two that represents your work or community

    • Clothes for warm & cool Weather (Weather is predicted to be clear, with days in the low 80s, nights in the low 60s)
    • Toiletries & medicine

    • Reusable Water bottle

    • Notebooks & Pens will be provided
