MXLU: Digging into Civics

Join us in our commitment to solidify and protect Black Freedoms in North Carolina and beyond!

During this time we have the intention to: 

• Solidify, Protect Black Freedoms Engagement
• Facilitate conversation around the collective strategy and mapping
• Solidify Statewide demands and local priorities.   
• Provide political education & pieces of training on various topics related to 2024 and civic engagement

 This weekend's event has moved to a completely virtual space.

Who is this for? 

These events are open to  BLOC Members, Partners, community members, leaders, and individuals who are committed to their development. 

What is the time & length of this event?  

These events take place over 2 days Saturday, March 9, 2024 - Sunday, March 10, 2024.

On Saturday, we will gather virtually from 11 am - 3 pm.

On Sunday, we will gather from 12- 2 pm for virtual training led by a partner. Members, and other community-centered organizations. 

What is the cost?

Sliding scale beginning at $5.

What is included in registration? 

Meals, materials, and transportation support for folks who need it. 

Are there scholarships available?

Yes! If you need a scholarship or you are a working-class person who would like to attend but that also means missing work or pay, scholarships are available.
