On Saturday, participants will choose from a variety of workshops to attend from the following tracks:

• Reimagining: Workshops that help us prepare ourselves for anything to come & better articulate our vision for a better future
• Readiness: Workshops that prepare us for disasters, civil unrest, and other destructive forces.
• Resilience: Workshops that help us practice the skills and secure the resources we need to build the future we deserve.
• Resistance: Workshops that support us in resisting injustice and creating community power

Registration includes materials, housing, and meals. Transportation and childcare support are available if you choose the registration options.

Registration & Logistics. Registration costs are on a sliding scale, starting at $15, and you can pay more or less if you can. This event costs about $200 per person, but we are eager to gather regardless of your means. We strongly encourage more than one person from each organization/group to participate in the gathering. ALL Logistical details will be shared in the coming weeks.

 For safety and security reasons, the exact location of this event will be shared with registrants only. It will occur near Asheville, NC.

All participants must register themselves. No on onsite registration will be allowed and unregistered people will be turned away as we will not be able to accommodate them. 

This event is open to all skill levels, races, and individuals. This is an inter-generational and pro-Black Space, slots are limited. Community members, organizations/collectives that are aligned with or committed to aligning with NC BLOCs liberatory values, those who believe culture and relational organizing are the heart of social change, and those who care about co-creating equitable campaigns that work to dismantle systems of oppression and build liberating alternatives are welcome!

This is just one way that we will be practicing community care together during this gathering. 

Health & Safety NC BLOC strives to center the well-being of all participating in our programs and activities. It collaborates with members and participants to meet their access needs. This includes ensuring events are Covid-19 Safer events, we will provide rapid COVID tests, KN95 masks, and hand sanitizer. Please be prepared to take a rapid COVID tests at the beginning of each day and provide a negative result before joining the group.
